Family All-Inclusive Resorts: What's Really Included (and Can I Afford It?)
Updated: Sep 26, 2019
All-Inclusive resorts are MUCH more budget-friendly than you think!
While chatting with a client yesterday about her upcoming family trip (set up your free vacation planning session here), I mentioned an incredible all-inclusive resort, but she immediately rejected the idea, saying that there was no way her family of four could afford an all-inclusive resort.
She held a common misconception that All-Inclusive Resorts are way out of the price range of the average family. But I'll let you decide after I break down what is ACTUALLY included in an all-inclusive resort vacation. I will be using the resort Beaches, Turks & Caicos, for a week in October 2020 to compare pricing (because most fall 2019 was sold out, so if you're interested, book early!).
So What Is Really Included at an All-Inclusive Resort?

So What Does It Cost?
If booked today, 7 days and 6 nights at All-Inclusive Beaches Turks & Caicos in October 2020 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, with a pool view, starts at an investment of $5,106.20. If I break this down even further, the cost is $212 per person, per day.
Now I know that's a good chunk of change - but stop and think about what that really includes (everything for an amazing week on the beach making memories of a lifetime with the people you love them most!). It's totally do-able, especially when planning 1-2 years in advance and making monthly payments.
Before I wrap up, I wanted to offer a quick comparison to something I know well and families book often:
Disney Cruise Line
Here's a quote for a 7-night Disney Cruise Line sailing Eastern Caribbean during the same week quoted at Beaches All-Inclusive resort above:
Now I LOVE Disney (you all know I'm a Disney Girl for life), but you can clearly see Beaches' value here. Disney Cruises DO NOT include any alcohol (each mixed drink or glass of wine will cost you upward of $9-$10). Plus, you're getting many free activities, more dining options, bigger sleeping spaces (KING bed), plus free infant childcare.
Some food for thought! Let me know if you've stayed at an All-Inclusive resort below! Have a fantastic week!
