FREE Stuff To Do Inside Disney World Parks

I know how hard my clients work to save their cash for a Disney vacation - that's why I wanted to compile a list of all the free activities and things that are INCLUDED in the price of your park ticket to a Walt Disney World theme park.

Free things to do at Disney World

Free Stuff Throughout Walt Disney World Parks

Water and Ice

  • Cups of water with ice can be asked for at any kiosk or restaurant throughout the theme parks for free! This will save a ton considering a bottle of water can run you $4 at Disney.

Character Greets & Autographs

  • At all four Walt Disney World theme parks meeting the characters is included in the ticket price. Some are more popular than others and I do recommend grabbing a Fastpass+ if there's a character you or your child is set on meeting.

  • Don't forget to ask for an autograph!

Celebration Buttons

  • At Disney, every day is a celebration and you can celebrate ANYTHING! Stop by any shop or the front desk of your resort to grab your celebration button.

  • Some buttons you'll see around the park are birthdays, anniversaries, and first-time visitors, but Disney wants you to have a magical stay and encourages celebrating, even if your birthday is 6 months away!

  • You'll be showered with extra love while donning a button - fun greetings, special treats, and sometimes surprises!

First-Aid Supplies

  • I often see huge lists of all the things you 'should' take into the parks, and a first aid kit is one of them. However, Disney is well supplied with first-aid supplies and can help you with any minor incident.

Free Stuff at Magic Kingdom

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Game & Cards

  • My kids LOVE this free and interactive game. Stop by the firehouse near the entrance of Magic Kingdom to get your free pack of playing cards (one per day for each member of your party), and learn how to get started.

  • The premise of the game is that Hades is taking over the park and Merlin is recruiting park guests to be his apprentices and help fight the villains.

  • You'll be provided with a map showing the 'portals' where you'll use your various power cards to defeat evil and save the park!

A Pirate's Adventure

  • Stop by The Crows Nest in Adventureland to pick up your treasure map and your secret mission.

  • With the completion of each mission, you'll receive a special treasure finder card.

  • Collect 5 cards and you'll be given a special 6th card signed by Jack Sparrow himself!

Belle's Bookmark

  • Kids of all ages love becoming a part of the magic as they perform in production within the Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction in the Magic Kingdom.

  • Following the show, kids can meet Belle and are given a free bookmark to remember their time there.

Driver and Pilot Licenses

  • Cast Members at The Tomorrowland Speedway and Dumbo have special license cards to hand out for driving and piloting the attractions. Just ask!

Ride in a Vintage Car Down Main Street

  • When I tell people it's completely free to ride in the vintage streetcars down Main Street, always tell me they thought it was an additional cost to ride them. Nope, they're completely free. Hope on at the Magic Kingdom entrance and take a scenic ride to the castle.

Free Stuff at Epcot

Agent P's World Showcase Adventure

  • While in Epcot stop by Agent P Booth on the way to the World Showcase to learn the mission that will lead you through several of the pavilions collecting clues to save the park from disaster.

  • Each pavilion has a spy-centric activity that will keep your kids interested while also learning a few new things!

KidCot Crafts

  • Also located in Epcot are KidCot craft stations. Stop by most pavilions and find craft activities just for smaller children, such as cut and paste, coloring sheets, or cultural activities.

Food and Wine Passport

  • If you're visiting Epcot during the Food and Wine Festival, stop at the Festival Center to pick up a map, menu, daily events, and your "passport"!

  • Cast Members will stamp the passport as you try the different food items. It makes for a fun souvenir.

Free Stuff at Hollywood Studios

Jedi Training Academy

  • Junior Jedi Knights between the ages of 4 and 12 can train to conquer the Dark Side in this 20-minute training.

  • A certificate will be awarded at the end of the Jedi Training session.

Free Stuff at Animal Kingdom

Wilderness Explorer's Academy

  • Follow in Russell's footsteps (you know, from the movie UP!), and collect badges as fun and educational activities are completed throughout the Animal Kingdom.

  • Register at The Oasis to Discovery Island to get your instruction book and map for activity locations.

  • 32 Badges in total can be collected and can be done so over several days or even several trips.

Play the African Drums

  • My kids are huge fans of making noise, so naturally, they love to make music on this African drum set-up in the Africa portion of Animal Kingdom.
